Jill and I left San Francisco for Portland in late '99. We had to get out. We weren't giving up on the Old Joe Clarks though. I immediately started doing demos for a third record. This one had such promise but it never happened when we tried to record it "proper" with the full band. The demo has a nice sound though. Recorded in the once empty attic which would become "Blue Rooms" studios (where I've been recording people ever since).
